Poetic, beautiful, polarizing. All the best films I've seen this year share a similar quality -- they break story-telling rules and willing to meander a little (see Daydream Nation, Tree Of LIfe, Somewhere, etc). And this movie has that in spades. But people seem to want all movies to move at the pace of a sitcom, which is sad.
This movie is haunting!
