Review of Noriko's Dinner Table (2005) by Christian L — 26 Jan 2010
The sequal to Suicide Circle/Club, NOTE: This is not a J-Horror movie, it does have some scence of violince, but it's a Drama. It's about a family (Mom Dad and two Daughters) who are emotionaly estranged from eath other, and the older sister runs away to a new "family" in Tokyo, about a year after the younger daughter leaves to, the movie of course goes on from there, that's only the begening, and the movie really takes off after that, but I don't like to give away Spoilers.
The film is about the journy to discover ones self and ones place in the world. It really expaneds upon the seperation between the generations in the first film in an amazingly profound way. An absolute must see.
