Ever think the mom in this movie is the same person as the teacher in [[ima ai ni yukimasu]]? I mean, I know they're both played by the same actress (YOU), but I mean, you ever think they're the same character? Like, she runs off and leaves her kids to starve, and then, as a way of repenting for her terrible sins, becomes a really nice school teacher? It kind of adds a whole new level to [[ima-ai]].
