Great movie with an excellent cast and direction. Based on a disturbing event that happened in Tokyo, the story is about four kids left by themselves in a small apartment with the minimum to survive. Koreeda has a delicate eye and perception and makes an intense movie.
It is beautiful and sad to see the innocence and even (moments of ) joy of those kids in such a messy situation. Hirokazu Koreeda is interesting me more and more. After Life, one of his movies, figures in my ftop movies list.
