Review of Nobody Knows (2004) by Jos . — 11 Feb 2009
Such a sad, sad movie, made all the worse because it follows the true story of young children left to fend for themselves in an apartment (though, somehow the true story manages to be worse).
It's a good film, and it's important to have films like this - just so long as we don't use them to revel in a nation's sadder aspects. Overall, I'd say that while it has its lighter moments and doesn't sucumb to overt sentimentality, it's not a film I'll be rushing out to see again.
