Put your brain in nuetral and go with the silly story. I enjoyed Bob Odenkirk and Christopher Lloyd playing off of each other, and dropping witty bon mots every time that wasted a particularly "bad" bay guy.
I've seen worse, but this is perfectly fun Saturday afternoon entertainment.
