Review of No One Killed Jessica (2011) by Adeesh A — 12 Jan 2011
There is nothing extraordinarily great about 'no one killed jessica'. except the fact that it goes against the tide of conventional hindi films that crave for a male protagonist to gather audiences.
Was annoyed at the beginning with some horrible performances by minor characters. and then somewhere in between, when there were some court-room sequences that were extremely melodramatic.
But with most of the other dramatic moments of the movie, one cannot complain. for, it is nothing but the reality of our country. (stomach it)! rani (truly delightful) is not over the top as some critics pointed out and it is infact, she, vidya (nearly flawless) and trivedi (pulsing music) that do some really good work. if you have nothing to do, then give it a try as these three deserve credit.
Could have been better in presentation, but that is not to say whatever done is bad.(3 could be a generous rating but) let's just say 'no one killed jessica' is good. and, leave it at that.
