Powerful crime-and-punishment drama which is based on true events: an infamous miscarriage of justice in the case of model Jessica Lall. In 1999, she was murdered by the son of an influential politician who eventually got acquitted of all charges - although there were 300 witnesses present.
Bollywood's Rani Rani Mukerji does a wonderful job as a tough-talking TV star reporter turned activist. Director Raj Kumar Gupta contributed smart and - at times - funny dialogues.
