Review of No Man's Land (2001) by Scubasteve Walter M — 10 Jul 2013
Never really took it as a drama, it's a black comedy really. It's quite amusing to see a black comedy set on a war film, I think this would be the first. Lot's of laughs to go by. Despite the humor, what I like the most is the social realities or truths shown in the film.
Bout the press are like vultures, revenge and hatred will never end in war (I don't know squat about the Bosnian war) and most of all, is the role of UN in conflicts. They always play safe, and never pacifies conflicts.
It's always neutral. Why are they giving medical aid and food, don't we have the red cross for that. The root of any war or conflict is from the parties involved, why not attend to that matter and stop the killings.
Anyhow, all of that is an allegory of the film.
