Review of No Escape (2015) by Jd A — 19 Aug 2015
"No Escape" is a simple stay alive movie with characters too annoying to care about. It's always nice seeing Owen Wilson back on the big screen and I love Lake Bell, but they aren't the problem.
The problem in this movie is the child actors. I wish I could blame their acting, but their acting was fine. The writers just gave them the most annoying lines. It's as if they didn't think of children as normal people that could respond properly to danger.
A child understands danger and yet this movie clearly shows these children acting clueless. Other than the building jump scene seen in the trailer, which has very bad green screen in the movie, the film looks very nice.
It's a movie you'd watch at home when it comes on TBS; not Starz or HBO, TBS.
