Review of No Escape (2015) by Andy S — 24 Sep 2015

I didn't expect a lot from No Escape, but have to say that it turned out better than expected. It's got a pretty good pace and an alright cast. I've enjoyed a number of movies Pierce Brosnan has been in post James Bond, and he turns in a limited yet entertaining performance in No Escape. Owen Wilson and Lake Bell come across convincingly as a couple who get caught up in such a scenario.

I do have to add that I saw the trailer dubbed in Italian and they gave Wilson a macho voice, which kills what was so effective in No Escape.

The ending was a bit flat, but the road that lead there was plenty of fun. This is worth renting in my book.
