The best critique of communism via satire ever filmed. So well written. Ninotchka can't stay away from that sexy capitalist. "Your general appearance is not distasteful... your cornea is excellent.
" Garbo's performance is so brilliant & hilarious, I'm not even sure she knows it. The scene where she starts laughing & loses all control is priceless. Lubitsch was a master. Special kudos for having the guts to attack communism in Hollywood.
