Review of Nil by Mouth (1997) by Tattooed White Trash . — 05 Feb 2008
Nil By Mouth is probably the grittiest and most realistic British movie ever. Ray Winstone is absalutely amazing, Kathy Burke is equally as good.
The only problems would be in the direction Gary Oldman takes it and the bad camera movements, the continual zooming in and out on characters for no reason while they talk has no point and just detracts from the film.
It's a good film, though if it were directed by someone else it could have been a great film.
