Review of Nikita (1990) by Trevor L — 18 Jul 2009
A dark and energetic action movie from Luc Besson. While there are quiet moments of character development on Nikita (Anne Parllaud), there are also many moments of fantastic gritty action sequences. Also, by not being overly familar with the Foreign cast, the characters were able to stand on their own without the pretencious nature of Hollywood films where we know TOM HANKS instead of Forrest Gump.
Nonetheless, this is a great action movie about a girl trained to kill or be killed by the French Government.
