Review of Nikita (1990) by William W — 28 Dec 2015
A fast paced thriller with that takes the time to give us a look into the day to day life of the assassin known as Nikita. It looks fantastic, with beautiful cinematography and some great imagery from the mind of Luc Besson.
The acton sequences are visceral and brutal, with none of the gloss that is usually associated with the action blockbuster. Nikita is beautiful and brutalized in some kind of strange allegory for women and their bodies.
Nikita more than just a simple action film.
