Review of Nikita (1990) by Cindy C — 12 Sep 2009
For it's time it probably was a very good movie, but after besson released the professional, Nikita seemed just alright. Well the film is quite enjoyable but lacks some logic and sense. We can teach everything, but to turn someone dumb who couldn't understand a simple order into a CIA-like intelligent unit structuring her own missions is quite non understandable yet impossible.
Nikita's caracter is complex but there are lot of flows in that caracter and it's not a double personality thing i'm talking about, but clearly a mistake of exagerating anything she does. The best thing in all the movie is Jean Reno's little cameo as the cleaner.
Thumbs up !
