Review of Nights of Cabiria (1957) by Nina L — 24 Oct 2009
A great movie! Masina is stunning. She earned the award in Cannes for her performance in 57. Her mambo is the funniest dance performed on screen. She's funny, sad, comic and tragic....François Perier is fantastic in his evil character.
The picture isn't yet in the famous Fellinian baroque style we are used to but there are already some signs of his future iconic genre.
To be seen.
