Review of Night of the Living Dead (1990) by Tristan R — 19 Jun 2008
Pretty decent remake with a few shake ups by Tom Savini. This is the movie that caused a rift between Romero and Savini because NTLD90 was an unauthorized remake and Romero got nothing for it. Still a good zombie flick, close to the original and cool to see The Candyman Tony Todd in a major role.
I like that Barbara is updated not to be a helpless female. Check it out to compare to the original.
