Review of Night of the Living Dead (1990) by Ken M — 02 Feb 2013
I actually prefer this version over the original. Its a true remake, and one I can tolerate precisely because it doesn't try to be original. The music is far superior in this film, and that is what takes it the distance.
No other film has created such a sense of dread without much ever taking place. I like how the unfolding of events beyond the confines of the house is left to the imagination.
