Review of Night of the Living Dead (1968) by Dan B — 09 Nov 2010
It creaks in the middle, some of the performances are stiffer than the shambling corpses⦠and yet, and yet⦠the beginning and end are utterly remarkable and it pretty much single handedly invents a whole sub-genre.
Anyone enjoying The Walking Dead should revisit this to remind themselves where it all began.
