Review of Night of the Living Dead (1968) by Dannon R — 29 Oct 2011
Very bleak horror classic, that really introduced zombies as the horrifying movie monsters. The problem is that, well it's very bleak and the second act is mostly watching the characters watching television.
Then there were the stereotype characters: the brave, coward, wacko & foolish. Not to mention the complete transformation of the (seemingly) main character Barbara (Judith O'Dea) in the almost non-existant prop.
Duane Jones as Ben was good though.
