One of my favorite zombie movies, and one of my favorite horror movies. honestly, most of the best and most memorable horror movies out there were in black and white. Take Psycho for example, or Frankenstien.
color makes horror movies less scarier than they could be in black and white, though i'm not saying there aren't exceptions (ex. the shining). the prejudice that younger horror fans have against black and white films is rather dumb.
filming this movie in black and white has made it even scarier than in color, because you would instantly tell that the gore is fake. they really need to give these movies a chance.
