Review of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008) by Joe A — 24 Nov 2012
Nick and Nora is hard to rate as there are some parts that are kind of dull yet, there are also some really nice scenes between Cera and Dennings as their romance begins to bud. Add to that the camera films the streets of New York with a love and appreciation for it's nightlife that I haven't seen in a movie in a long time.
It made me miss the days where I was in the city almost every Saturday night seeing a band or film or just bar hopping. Another plus is that Cera is actually good in this and didn't annoy me and Dennings is always spunky and charming.
So, despite it's overall unevenness and the fact it has grown on me with repeated viewings, I'll cut it some slack.
