Very matter-of-fact telling of the last years of the Romanovs, with all the political intrigue ("SPLITTERS!!!") and little drama. Tom Baker is a charismatic Rasputin and the last shot (did I intend that pun?) is well done.
For history buffs to debate over and fans of costume epics.
