Wow!! Just Wow!! I have been a fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street series since I was young boy. Granted, I was only 3 when New Nightmare came out, I took an interest in 80's style horror movies because they just had such style, and there was no one out there with more style than Freddy Krueger.

The resason I was drawn to him more than any other horror icon was because he was different. He would talk trash, have cool puns before he kill someone, it was just so different from any other horror film I had seen.

This documentary is fantastic to showcase every last in and out of this amazing horror franchise. Im sure people will preview it and say "4 hours? no way man" but Im telling you as a amateur film critic but just all around lover of film, especially horror films, this is gold level documentary that tells you everything you would ever want to know about Nightmare of Elm Street, and Interviews everyone and anyone you can think of who participated in this series.

Just like any film in the franchise, this documentary has such style. They took time to create these great stop motion clay animations for the intro and segues in between each film explanation. It was just so very well done.

To me, this is the gold standard of film documentaries, and I look forward to finding or seeing others like it because just as the beginning of this review stated, just wow! R.I.P. Wes Craven.
