Review of The Rider (2018) by Joe C — 05 Jul 2018
"The Rider" is a soulful story about horses training (and breaking) humans. What is really touching though, is the fact that these are real people playing them self! Chloé Zhao takes this real life story (fictionalized, I am sure) and makes it more human and poetic than any documentary would have done.
This is one of the reason I love films, and this is the main reason I loved "The Rider".
