Review of Never Say Never Again (1983) by Andy C — 18 Mar 2010
Unique in it's own right, not a traditional Bond Film, and yet it is strangely effective. It is probably the worst Bond movie, but is supported by a great cast and Connery may show age, but it makes us wonder if he had continued into the part of the Roger Moore era how he may have fared.
Kim Basinger is extremely attractive. The weakest point of this movie is it's attempt to emulate the far superior Thunderball which was a much better film featuring a younger Sean Connery. The action scenes and title song make this a great watch though and it is definitely exciting in it's own regard hindered only by it's association with a prior 007.
