Review of Never Say Never Again (1983) by Brian V — 14 Sep 2015
"Never Say Never Again", one of the few non-Eon Bond films, feels rather uneven - quite tense at times and rather plodding at others - but still comfortably above par. Connery is on good form as always, deshpite him opting for "sh" inshtead of "s" thish time round.
Brandauer is a fine villain, Kim is less of a piece of wood than most Bond girls and Rowan Atkinson turns in a pleasant performance in his first movie role. The disgraceful miscastings of M, Q and Moneypenny aside, this is good fun.
