Review of Network (1976) by Austin V — 10 Dec 2012
Prescient satire. Firecracker script. Riveting performances from Peter Finch and William Holden in particular. I had seen the electrifying "mad as hell" scene before and was surprised to find it wasn't a rousing climax, but rather a midpoint development that stages the beginning of the end.
What a film!
