I've never seen a more biting social commentary with as good acting and writing as "Network". It's an absolute treat to have some of the best writing in film be delivered by some of Hollywood's finest actors, especially when this writing is all a scathing "fuck you" to the entertainment industry, which is probably why this lost Best Picture to Rocky.
Honestly, this is one of the best movies ever.
