Long before the modern think pieces on reality TV we get an insightful tale about how television and mass media was/is corrupting people's minds and how they think and feel. The idea that a person's desperation is being exploited must resonate with so many of us.
Well trust me, if you get paranoid easy, maybe avoid this, because it will validate how you've always felt about the mass media.
