Review of Network (1976) by James S — 24 Sep 2010
A Fantastic look at the Tv world, realistic, funny and despite the fact its from the 70's still relevant. Normally not a film I would be attracted to but I thought id give it a go as Id seen Faye Dunaway in Bonnie and Clyde and wanted to see her in another role, and im glad I did.
A fantastic script and topped by a great scene where crazed Newsanchor Howard Beale screams down the camera for his viewers to join him shouting "Im Mad as hell and im not gonna take it anymore!" out of their windows! Really Clever and darkly funny.
I really enjoyed it!
