Review of Near Dark (1987) by Irvin C — 14 Sep 2009
There is actually a great vampire gang movie in the 1980's and it ain't "The Lost Boys". A young man stumbles upon a gang of vampires after he becomes infatuated with one of them. It's pretty intense and wonderfully directed.
Based on this, I have NO IDEA why Kathryn Bigelow isn't a more prolific action director.
