An obscenely low rating (5.8 on IMDB) and I just don't know why. I accidentally re-rented this, and realised I had seen it in the first half-second, it's that distinctive. Fine so it has more than a nod to just about ever decent sci fi film since Blade Runner (inc Matrix, GITS, Akira), but I don't care.
It's gorgeous to watch, moving in places and must seriously be in contention for one of the best sci fi films of all time. Visceral, and as I found out tonight eminently re-watchable.
