The gags weren't that funny in 1993, and now that every movie parodied is at least 15 years old, the movie has even fewer laughs. However, as weak as the material is, the film is still an improvement over modern day parody films.
The jokes don't rely on a constant stream of gross-out gags, the actors are all talented and seem to be having fun, and the many cameos tend to bring smiles. By no means is this a great film, but it's far better than any of the [Blank] Movies that have infected multiplexes over the past few years.
