Review of Nashville (1975) by Eman R — 13 Apr 2010
Great movie, but I can't explain why. The plot meanders for nearly three hours, seemingly with no central point, or even outcome. However, it just feels right, and works. Maybe it is the seemingly parallel stories, that aren't parallel, or the character development, or the whimsical everyday-life sub-plots.
The movie does make one (probably unintentional) point though - country music sucks.
