An above avergae 70's film. Altman is hit or miss for me but this could be called one of his best. Mixing politics with country music and intertwining dozens of characters, Nashville has an interesting narrative.
While some of the songs I could care less for, the actors in it are really good. Henry Gibson,Ronnee Blakely, Lily Tomlin, and Ned Beatty are really good in this. Jeff Goldblum has an awesome supporting role as a a silent weirdo who does magic tricks.
Right up there with MASH as Altman's best.
