Review of Mystic River (2003) by Jay D — 30 Jul 2011
The biggest problem I have with Mystic River is that by the end of the film I hated all of the three main characters, I won't spoiler why but you may understand it when you see it.
Otherwise, it really has a nice plot with some surprising twists and great suspense, amazing actors (Penn and Robbins both won Oscars for their performances) and an even better setting - I love these Boston crime flicks with thick Irish accents, pubs and these nice New England architecture.
