Review of Mystic River (2003) by Mike G — 23 Mar 2015
As much as I love the Lord of the Rings, this probably should've won the Best Picture Oscar over Return of the King, but I'm guessing the Academy felt like they owed Peter Jackson for making him lose to Chicago and Beautiful Mind the two years before (both mistakes in my opinion).
