Low-key depiction of Marilyn Monroe in England attempting to get behind character and introduce feeling into the persona divorcing it from the icon. To achieve this Kenneth Branagh plays a closed minded Laurence Olivier with an obstinate view of the Hollywood actress.
This is slow moving but a very good 20th century period drama.
