Is this movie a cinematic classic that will stand the test of time? No. Is this movie the BEST kids movie I've seen this year? Absolutely. The characters stayed true to themselves, and while it felt a little like they had strung out a 1 hour season opener to be 1hr 45 min, you weren't overly painfully aware.
If you like ponies, even passively, or have kids who do, it's a good show for the family to see.
