Review of My Kid Could Paint That (2007) by Michaelina D — 15 Apr 2008
This documentary had a lot of promise, but I was disappointed with it. There was so much Bar-Lev could have done with the subject, and so many angles he could have taken it from, but instead he just posed the questions, left them dangling, and then tried to be impartial.
Emphasis on the tried. So nothing was answered, and he settled for reciting some psuedo-philosophical bromide at the end to justify the lack of satisfactory conclusion. Interesting topic, but the way he came at it was poor.
