Review of My Favorite Year (1982) by Steven L — 03 Dec 2007
A very underrated comedy. This was the last really good Peter O'Toole performance, until Venus last year. It's a great ode to the era of Sid Caesar and Your Show of Shows, with O'Toole as the Errol Flynn like drunk, and Mark Linn-Baker,pre-Perfect Strangers, as the Mel Brooks-like writer assigned to keep him sober before the big show.
It's a really good movie.
