Review of My Father's Glory (1990) by Philippe V — 12 Jul 2011

The movies (My Mother's Castle is the sequel) are no substitute for the books, but they are very good. If you watch these, by a little jar of "herbes de Provence" and open it under your nose when young Marcel starts his adventures in the wilds of Provence.
.. it'll help take you there...
