Review of My Dinner with Andre (1981) by Brett B — 29 Jun 2010

A film that consists of two old friends having a conversation. Seems boring, but it's not. In fact, it's a great piece of art cinema. I commend both filmmaker and actors for participating in this film.

At first the conversation is not all that interesting, but after about 20 minutes the film tends to drag you in without you even knowing it. Look again, and you'll be over an hour into it. A film that really hits the spot when you're really just looking for answers to unanswerable questions.

Brilliant in it's simplicity.
