I am glad I saw this. The best Art film I ever seen, and I consider this an Art film, because of the low-budget, yet, highly entertaining and attention grabbing conversation. I think Louie Malle should have been nominated for this movie instead of the other one that year he directed.
It has held up since it debuted. Although this film, would be trumped by another art film, "Kiss of the Spider Woman", I feel this was the best one. All others had to trump this, some did, but this is the king.
