Review of My Darling Clementine (1946) by Patrick G — 13 Oct 2009
If you're looking for historical accuracy, you best look elsewhere. But if you are looking for poetic filmmaking at its very best, seek John Ford's 1946 gem as soon as possible. It is a strong, poignant movie about the changing times of the Old West.
And out of all of the actors who played Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell, Kevin Costner, James Garner, Burt Lancaster, etc) my favorite is Henry Fonda.
