Review of My Boss's Daughter (2003) by Gavin A — 27 Dec 2010
Not credible, entertaining or funny. While it follows some standard formulae, it fails at every turn. There's no obvious reason why Reid's character would fall for Kutcher's, there's no chemistry on screen, there's no logic to the story, you feel no sympathy for any of the characters and when Kutcher finally 'gets mad' it doesn't make any difference to the way the story turns out.
Comedy is a very personal thing. The only people I can imagine enjoying this are those that are after a few scenes with Tara Reid - e.g. young, single male teenagers who have watched every other comedy going.
