Review of Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) by Scott R — 02 Aug 2008
This was just another "classic" film that proved my belief that the best movies are being made today. Clark Gable plays a real-life British sailor who mounts a mutiny while aboard an oppressive royal shipping vessel.
Unfortunately, somebody on set forgot to tell Clark that he is supposed to sound British, not American. The acting was bloated in parts and much to soft in others. The mutiny, instead, took place in my family room when I turned off the movie before it ended!
