Review of Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) by Steve K — 09 May 2009
Honestly, I did not know that a 1935 film could achieve the production value of "Master and Commander." Gable at his best; Charles Laughton meeting or exceeding Alec Guinness in "Tunes of Glory," and Franchot Tone giving a closing speech that cuts to the core.
Just perfect.
